Pumpkin Picking

One of the many many reasons that Brett and I decided Bates Nut Farm was the perfect place to have our wedding was because it is a place that we can continue to visit over the years. We're excited for the day we can take our kids to the farm to pick pumpkins or for a picnic and tell them about our wedding day, show them where we said our vows, or take them to the oak tree we met at before the ceremony to pray together.

I look forward to our October trips to pick out pumpkins. It's a long drive and it's often crazy busy but it's us, walking through fields, hunting for perfect pumpkins, feeding donkeys, shopping at the general store. Oh how I love our own little family tradition.

Here are some photos from our trip on Saturday! It started with pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin cream cheese muffins and it ended with an awesome night of pumpkin carving with dear friends. I love October!!

Oh, and if you want, you can check out the fun little video we made from our trip last year (HERE) :)

B gave his pumpkin a love tattoo! ... And I left a dangling booger in the nose of mine :)
